Training

Training is an essential step in learning to use the facilities available to you and reaping the full benefit of your investment in this software.

Training can take place at one of our Regional Training Centres or by telephone, but for specific training, we recommend that it takes place in your office, loading YOUR information onto YOUR computers.

Our experience has shown us that a staged approach to implementing any piece of software gives the best results.

Our training is aimed at maximising the beneficial impact of the software on your business from the first session. A minimum of 3 training sessions (3 hours per session) is recommended for any of our software packages. Some more advanced functionality may well require additional training sessions. These can be booked as required; however, prior to installation we will discuss with you, and mutually agree, a training program to meet your specific requirements.

It is vital to recognise the need for adequate training and appreciate the impact on your staff.

Equally important is that during the changeover from your current methods of operation you keep your existing systems maintained. All our software is easy to use but because it can change the workflow of so many staff it is fundamental that the implementation of each function is properly planned to ensure a successful installation. This means we ensure that one module is “up and running” before you move to the next.

All our trainers are experienced in both the use of the software, and the industry in which you work.

Telephone

Telephone training can supplement the on-site training and provides fast, specialist training when it’s needed. A member of CFP’s support staff can instruct you how to load the program prior to the trainer telephoning you at an appointed time (if the software has not already been installed by CFP).

Telephone training gives you the flexibility of being trained at your own pace – some people will prefer an intensive two hour session covering many subjects, while others may perhaps prefer one hour sessions in which less ground is covered.

On-site

A member of our training team will visit you and train your staff in the areas you require and at the pace you dictate. For the best results no more than 3 staff should be present on a single training session. The training will be “hands on” and all of your questions will be answered as and when they occur. The session can be for either 3 hours or 6 hours.

Manuals

In addition, the packages are supplied with easy to read manuals in a built in PDF format and an online help function should you wish to progress with other sections of the program more quickly.

Regional Courses

CFP hold regular training sessions, at centres across the country, where you can get thorough training on all aspects of our software packages. CFP also hold regular courses at our Head Office where more detailed training on all aspects of the software packages can be enjoyed. CFP also regularly run user seminars throughout the country where users can meet together to discuss the ways in which they use the software and can hear from CFP details of new features that are constantly being added to the software. The quality of our software, ease of use, and the format of our user manual are as a direct result of listening to the requirements of firms using our software and tailoring our service to meet your needs.
