CFP Software releases two new features for its innovative CFPwinMan sdb at the Property Professional Show

CFP SoftwareCFP Software, the UK’s market leading provider of property management and lettings software, is pleased to announce the release of two new important features for CFPwinMansdb at this year’s Property Professional Show in Birmingham; sponsored by its parent company, GMG Property Services.

Both of these products have been developed following consultation with a number of CFP’s existing customers and are currently in Beta testing at first release sites. The new features are scheduled to be available for general release and installation from late August onwards. Orders for the new software though can be placed as from today.

Service Charge Module – this will be of huge benefit to both residential and commercial block management specialists particularly in terms of time-saving as it dramatically reduces the amount of information to be keyed in. Some of the key features are:

  • Create multiple invoices with relevant notices easily by simply setting a budget for each expenditure category and a percentage contribution for each tenant/leaseholder. Budgets are then calculated and apportioned automatically and can be charged over any period (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly or even in arrears!)
  • Set up multiple bank accounts for trouble-free segregation of rents, deposits, grounds rents, sinking funds etc., with a separate reconciliation for each bank account you have.
  • The comprehensive reporting suite includes detailed expenditure reports against the budgets you have set and balancing statements for year-end accounting.
  • The integrated commercial functionality can even generate pro-forma invoicing and client VAT analysis per landlord
  • Ability to store commercial insurance details and report on renewal dates
  • Commercial-specific EPC charts
  • Inter account bank transfers

Multi Office – this is specifically designed for larger multi-office companies - some of the key features are:

  • Allows segregation and filtering of landlord, tenant, property, contractor and bank account data in a single database across a network of branches
  • Each CFPwinMan system user can be provided with full or read only access to specific branches and groups of branches
  • Allows individual stationery settings (headers and footers etc.) to be defined and applied for each branch
  • Provides reports on key performance indicators for the customer’s business

CFPwinMan is used by over 2,500 companies in the UK, including 45%* of all dedicated letting agents and is the first and only property management software package to be accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
