CFP Software Launches New SQL Version Of CFPwinMan

CFP Software, the market leader in lettings and property management software, has launched a new SQL (Structured Query language) version of CFPwinMan that includes a Standing Order and Direct Debit module, as part of the new ‘scalable’ version, allowing for updates to the database to happen much quicker.

The SQL version uses an industrial strength database with a dedicated server for data processing and management, making it more robust, reliable and secure.

CFP software has increased the functionality of CFPwinMan to make it ‘scalable’, meaning that performance is not tarnished by volume – Reconcile Balance Reports now take around 1 minute to download, rather than up to 4 hours.

CFPwinMan now has no limit on data size or on concurrent users, meaning that the software is more resilient to network errors and is much less susceptible to corruption. In addition to this, the database is now much more secure with no backup required on exit as this can happen when in use.

The ‘History Log’ items can also now be protected from being edited or deleted to ensure items cannot be lost in error and an ‘Event Wizard’ has been introduced to create email alerts for Property Status changes, allowing Auto Fees for maintenance invoices also.

The new Standing Order and Direct Debit module includes AUDDIS processing, import verification and reporting, which allows a Direct Debit call file to be sent to the bank and then received with a list of failures.

Additional extra functionality now includes user-definable receipt types for credit cards, debit cards etc. Search boxes have also been introduced to start to filer as users type and a ‘Select All’ box has been introduced on the Fast Track Receipts screen. Filers have been also been included to help filter diaries by department and ‘To Do Lists’ by department.

As part of the new look and feel of CFPwinMan, the screen has been re-scaled to make better use of the space available on larger, high resolution, screens. There is also integration with Google calendar, for synchronisation with Outlook, BlackBerry’s, iPhone’s, PDAs etc.

A significant improvement to the software includes the introduction of a new Void report to allow users to easily compare anticipated to actual income from each property in their portfolio, as well as support for a new lower cost post-code address lookup option.

Lastly, the new CFPwinMan software has a VebraLive and EncoreLive link, with functionality added to allow use of the same postcode software as EncoreLive.

Mark Daruvalla, Managing Director of CFP Software, comments: “We have updated our CFPwinMan software package with many significant improvements to ensure that our software is helping to save agents time and effort in the day-to-day running of their agencies.”
